Khaled Salem is the Chief Executive Officer of Williamsburg Enterprises. Mr. Salem oversees the company’s various holdings as well as the firm’s investment strategies and growth initiatives and is passionate about investing back into the communities in which his properties serve.

Hank Youk serves as Williamsburg’s Chief Financial Officer, where he is responsible for the company’s financial operations, compliance and reporting. Prior to joining our team, Hank served as the CFO at JDDA Group.

Hank is a graduate of Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business, where he received a Master of  Business Administration (MBA) with a focus in Finance and Real Estate. Hank graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Finance. Hank is also a certified public accountant (CPA).

Outside of the office, Hank can be found spending time with his wife and three kids.

Matthew Kelley

Matthew Kelley serves as Williamsburg’s Vice President of Development, executing the development of new properties and evaluating investment opportunities for the company. Prior to joining the Williamsburg team, Matthew led retail development projects across the city, which enables him to excel in the work he does today.

Matthew holds an MBA from Rice University, Masters of Architecture from the University of Houston, and a BA of Visual Arts from McNeese State University.

Outside of the office, this self-proclaimed “foodie” enjoys trying out all the new restaurants around town or you can find him in the kitchen cooking almost every day. Matthew is also well-traveled, having visited eight countries and will be visiting Spain this summer. Although he enjoys more exotic destinations, his favorite tradition is his family’s annual vacation to Minnesota, where he gets to spend quality time with his wife and two sons and their extended family.

Carey Burden serves as Williamsburg’s Vice President of Property Management, overseeing the property management division and ensuring that our tenants love everything about their homes. She also leads our property management team, ensuring they embrace the “WE way of life” with her level of enthusiasm and dedication.

Outside of the office, Carey is passionate about the Autism community, and spends her time volunteering for Autism Speaks. She’s also a talented crafter, and enjoys taking on new DIY projects in her home and spending quality time with her husband Rob, son Chandler, and two “fur babies,” Cooper and Bond.

Lauren Shepperd

Lauren Shepperd serves as Williamsburg’s Vice President of Leasing. Lauren is responsible for the retail leasing of Williamsburg’s portfolio, which consists of 2.2 million square feet of shopping centers. Prior to joining the Williamsburg team, Lauren successfully leased 1.2 million square feet of grocery anchored shopping centers for Global Fund Investments.

Lauren is a native Houstonian, who received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Southern University. Lauren is also an active member of ICSC. When Lauren is outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family taking advantage of all that Houston has to offer!

Theresa Germaine

Theresa Germaine serves as Williamsburg’s Property Accounting Supervisor, and her work for the company includes managing all financial information for each of our properties.

Theresa received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from LeTourneau University, and finished her Master’s Degree in Business Administration there a few years later.

When she’s not busy doing all “the fun stuff” like taxes, reconciliations, and paying bills, Theresa loves to go to church with her family and volunteers there as a Sunday school teacher. She also loves listening to 80s music and visiting museums in Houston during her down time.

Jared Gunter

Williamsburg’s Senior Accountant, Jared Gunter, brings over 13 years of expertise in managing commercial and residential real estate to our company. His most recent project for the company involves “building a master loan summary,” a project he says is the coolest thing he’s currently working on.

Jared received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Florida State University in 2000, and later went on to complete his Master’s Degree in Business Administration in 2008.

When he’s not preparing financials for the team, you can find Jared volunteering as a baseball coach at his local YMCA. He’s also passionate about volunteering with special needs children. He loves to spend time with his 5 children and make time for date nights with his wife, Sarah.

Callie Wade is the Executive Assistant to Khaled Salem, Williamsburg’s CEO. Callie also serves as the office’s Human Resources representative and oversees daily operations. Prior to joining the Williamsburg team Callie worked in Private Equity, specializing in the oil, gas, and energy sectors.

Callie is a native Texan, who graduated with her BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas, at Tyler. Upon graduation Callie moved to Houston where she loves spending time with her husband, family and two dogs, and enjoying all that the busy city has to offer. In her spare time Callie likes to volunteer with Impact Church and their after-school programs.

Chloe Matta, our Marketing and Administrative Assistant, works closely with our Leasing Team to manage all marketing efforts. Chloe also ensures efficient office operations and supporting managers and employees through their daily tasks.

Outside of Williamsburg, Chloe is a student at the University of Houston, where she is working towards a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. Upon graduating, Chloe plans to pursue a career in marketing.   

Outside of her studies and contributing to the Williamsburg team, you can find Chloe outside in the sun, swimming or exercising. A few of her favorite things to do include exploring Houston’s best eats and traveling with her friends and family. During the summers, Chloe is an active volunteer at Vacation Bible School and the Houston Food Bank.
